The transformation program
Mission Freedom
Mission Freedom helps people break free from PTSD, anxiety, depression, addiction, and the limiting beliefs underneath them.
It doesn't teach people to manage their pain for the rest of their lives. It teaches them to rewire it.
Community and transformation

About the founder
Marine. Attorney.Founder.
David Shoup is a Marine Corps infantry combat veteran who served in Iraq, a practicing attorney, entrepreneur, #1 international best-selling author, and the founder of Warriors Awakening.
After coming home from combat and fighting the invisible battles that followed, David developed the Mission Freedom methodology: a system for breaking through limiting beliefs, mastering emotions, and building lasting resilience. His book, Mission Freedom: A Combat Veteran's Battle Plan to Destroy PTSD and Live Free, is the foundation of that work.
The why
He has been there.
David came home from Iraq carrying wounds no one could see. For more than 15 years he battled the full weight of PTSD, including suicidal thoughts and psychosis. He was hospitalized twice and pushed to the absolute edge.
In his darkest moment, when everything else had failed, Mission Freedom was born. He didn't find a program. He built one from the inside out, in the middle of the fight, and it saved his life.
Warriors Awakening Foundation exists to take what saved his life to veterans, first responders, and families across the country, and Warriors Nation exists so that no one who served has to find their way back alone.
